Gas filling
A cassette AC does not use up refrigerant, so low gas almost always points to a leak. Topping up without finding the leak brings cooling back only temporarily, and the unit works harder while it runs low.
For cassette AC gas refilling, our technicians first test pressure and trace the leak, commonly at flare joints, brazed joints, the coil, or the service valves. Signs of low gas include ice on the indoor coil, cooling that weakens over days or weeks, a hissing sound, or oily residue near pipe joints.
Installation
A cassette AC sits recessed in the false ceiling, so cassette AC installation is planned before the first cut: the ceiling opening and hanger rods, a drain route that carries condensate away, refrigerant piping between the indoor and outdoor units, the power supply, and a ventilated spot for the outdoor unit.
